One of the plants that is commonly seen in the Southwest is the Joshua Tree.  Its unusual shape and ability to thrive in a desert landscape intrigued Joan on her last visit to the Las Vegas area.  In this quilt she has captured the spiked bursts of green at the end of the curved and varying shaped tree branches as well as the barren landscape around the trees and the rocky mountains typical of the area behind them.  A blue and peach streaked sky add to the beauty of this quilt.  It is $168.
