This charming church is the one that I attend regularly and love. The front walkway, garden and some of the lawn don’t really exist, but I didn’t think parking lots, driveways and roads made an attractive quilt. Otherwise, as you can see from the photo, this is a fairly detailed rendering of our little church. I donated it as a raffle quilt to help raise funds for youth programs in our parish. The winner of this quilt spent many hours working on the church over the years and is thrilled to own it. It’s a country church so the red and white checkerboard border seemed appropriate. Our priest loved this so much that I made another one for him as a Christmas gift.
