Prickly Pear Cactus

This quilt shows the prickly pear cactus in bloom.  Because cacti can't be found in the natural landscapes of Vermont, Joan was taken by their beauty on her visit to the Southwest.  There are many cacti, and many types of prickly pear cactus, in the Las Vegas area.  They are beautiful as well as resourceful plants to thrive in the desert as they do.  The rocky mountain backdrop and beautiful sunset sky add to the quilt's appeal.  It is $180.
