Shelburne Farms is a popular tourist attraction because it offers something for everyone. The grounds of this historic estate are spectacular. There is a cheese factory that produces fabulous cheese, an animal farm to delight children and of course the beautiful Inn at Shelburne Farms. It's a favorite place of mine to visit and I'm really pleased to be able to share some of the beauty of this stunning location through my quilts. These quilts can be seen and purchased at the Shelburne Farms Welcome Center.

The Garden View quilt sells for $145 and the Lake View quilt can be yours for $135. Both pictures of the Inn are photos I print on fabric that I then paint using fabric markers. I place them on beautiful fabric backgrounds of sky, grass, lake, and mountains, then fill in the picture with fabric trees, flowers and other details. The resulting quilts not only showcase the beauty of the Inn but also its fabulous grounds and gorgeous setting on the shores of Lake Champlain. The beauty of the fall season is celebrated in the lake view while our glorious (but all too short) summer season is showcased in the garden view. I can't help but be inspired by such a spectacular landscape, so I really enjoy making these quilts.
